Andrew Punnoose
Andrew is an eleventh-grade student in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, where he attends the International Baccalaureate Academy at Elgin High School. His family has roots in Maramon, Karackal (Thiruvalla), and Mavelikara. Baptized by Rev. Fr. Shibu Venad Mathai (an episcopal candidate), he serves his home parish as an acolyte. Andrew founded Malankara Map and continues to lead the project worldwide as its Global Director, coordinating the diocesan and zonal coordinators who help keep this directory current.
Andrew Varughese
Andrew is a ninth-grade student in Warrington, Pennsylvania. Baptized in 2011 by H.G. Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios, he now serves as an acolyte at Bensalem St. Gregorios Orthodox Church and is an active member of the MGOCSM and other youth ministries. As Assistant Global Director, he helps coordinate the team behind Malankara Map — and the site’s background music is his own contribution to the project.
Allan Panicker
Allan is based in Mumbai, where he works as a Senior Analyst at Airbnb. Outside of his corporate career, he is deeply involved with the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM), focusing on engaging and mentoring young people within the church community. As Global Secretary, he supports the coordination of Malankara Map’s growing team while continuing to serve as Bombay Diocesan Coordinator. In his free time, he enjoys reading and listening to music.
Jerin Cherian
Jerin was born and raised in Bangalore, where he is a member of Jalahalli St. Mary’s Orthodox Church and leads the Bangalore Diocese’s Music Ministry as an active choir member. Professionally, he works as a Team Lead at one of the Big Four firms while also pursuing his own entrepreneurial ventures, and he recently completed a four-month course in Orthodox Christian Nurture run by the Calcutta Diocese. He has served on the Executive Committees of both MGOCSM and OCYM in the Bangalore Diocese, and continues to encourage young people to engage in faith, fellowship, music, and service.
